Prentice Stovall is a global development leader at Eli Lilly and Company, overseeing a team focused on prioritizing opportunities for Lilly’s mirikizumab and redefining the standard of care for people with UC.
Stovall has been with Lilly for more than a decade, with a depth and breadth in numerous therapeutic areas and business priorities, including immunology, connected care and insulins, oncology and neuroscience, and has worked in the United States and Canada. Recently, he served as the senior director of global connected care and insulins brands before becoming a global brand development leader on the immunology team. He leverages data and unmet patient needs to guide development strategy and believes continuous listening and innovation are the key to redefining the standard of care.

Stovall earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management and an MBA from the Krannert School of Management at Purdue University. Prior to Lilly, he worked as a pharmaceutical sales representative at GlaxoSmithKline.

Passionate about the importance of diversity and inclusion, Stovall strives to increase representation in clinical trials and in the workplace. Outside of Lilly, Stovall takes action to support his personal values by serving on the board of directors for Children’s Bureau Inc. and as an industry advisory board member at the University of North Carolina’s Eshelman Institute for Innovation.
