Subrenie brings 20 years of industry experience across Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Sales, Marketing, Patient & Policy Advocacy roles. As Director of Patient Advocacy & Communications she is focused on late-stage pipeline assets and operational change management to encourage earlier advocacy engagement in development and pre-launch programs.

Subrenie has led the development and implementation of diversity, health equity and inclusion strategy – and efforts to integrate those strategies with enterprise business priorities to enhance health outcomes, she has led the U.S. Public Policy & Advocacy, Vaccines team at Merck and was responsible for the company’s positions and engagements on state and local governments’ policies, legislation, and regulations related to vaccines and immunization. Prior to Merck, Subrenie also worked at Bristol-Myers Squibb and Johnson & Johnson. Throughout her career, Subrenie has contributed to effective consumer, community & professional marketing programs, as well as advancing policies and education efforts to benefit patients.
